Cambridge Half Marathon 2024

This year, once again, Myelopathy.org has taken part in the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon, with participants including Myelopathy.org co-founder Dr Mark Kotter, and one of our regular supporters Dr Johann Graggaber running to raise funds and awareness!

The marathon takes runners through some of the most historic and beautiful landmarks and sights in Cambridge, promising a memorable run. The marathon always has a great turnout, with athletes being cheered on at every turn as they raise funds and awareness for their causes. Cambridge, being flat and fast, is a particularly good town to hold a marathon and past participants have said it’s an enjoyable experience, even if you’re a first timer!

As a micro charity, we’re not always able to take part in challenge events due to limited resources. However, as we are based in Cambridge, we are pleased to be able to be involved in TTP Cambridge Half Marathon and raise the charity’s profile as well as raise the funds to advance research into support and awareness for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy (DCM). Challenge events are a great and effective way to generate awareness for a charity’s services and the incredible work that goes on.

For those of you who were unable to take part in the marathon, there are so many other challenges or experiences you could do to help us! We are open to anything that you feel you would like to do, or any way you think you could help us raise much-needed funds. If you have any ideas, get in touch with us at info@myelopathy.org. We would love to hear from you!
