If you want to talk about your experiences, listen to others, answer questions, or share information, our online community is the right place for you. Our support community can also help families, friends, and caregivers to understand how Myelopathy can affect your daily life. They will be better placed to help you find important information and learn from the experiences of other people.
If you have recently been diagnosed, a support group can play an important role in helping you through the processes of coming to grips with the condition, and learning to take steps to manage it. Other people with similar problems, concerns, and experiences can help educate and support you during difficult periods. Often, they can provide insight into coping, as well as providing practical tip on managing basic activities of daily living. Support groups often create a sense of belonging that helps each person feel more understood and less alone. Exchanging thoughts and ideas with fellow sufferers will hopefully help you understand your condition and support you through tougher times.
